A peasant activist was abducted yesterday morning in Sitio Artemia, Brgy. Bubog, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

Rogelio Marquez, 27, a member of the Alyansa ng Magsasak sa San Jose (Peasant Alliance in San Jose) and Anakpawis (Toiling Masses), was on his way home with his cousin aboard a tractor trailer when he was seized by seven uniformed policemen. One of the policemen was identified by his name pin as a certain “Espino.

As of this writing, Marquez’s whereabouts remain unknow(Bulatlat.com)
