CHED-Cordillera has been somewhat in cahoots with NTF-ELCAC in removing from school libraries reading materials the government deems “subversive”; an irony, because DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones encourages teachers to be “apolitical” at all times, especially for the forthcoming elections. Censorship at any given point in time is obviously political.
