This is the children’s version of a boodle fight, a military style of eating where soldiers use their hands to eat food, which are laid out on banana leaves in the center of the mess hall, to demonstrate their unity, camaraderie, and equality. For children, this may be a novel way of making them eat, especially those who are not fond of eating.
