With the rate the Philippine government is going about the repatriation of stranded OFWs in Saudi Arabia, only a handful would be able to leave before the July 3 deadline set by the Saudi government.
On National Migrants Day, overseas Filipino workers from Saudi Arabia who were recently repatriated trooped to Mendiola to call on the Aquino administration to fast track the repatriation of stranded Filipinos in Saudi before the crackdown resumes on July 3.
Instead of helping the stranded OFWs, Ambassador Ezzedin Tago allegedly ordered that they be denied electricity and water and food and medicine donations be embargoed.
