The latest victim of political killings is the nephew of a peasant leader in Nueva Ecija.

John Gado, 28, married, was shot dead at 9 p.m. last night inside his home in the peasant village of Yuson, Guimba town, Nueva Ecija province (153 kms. north of Manila).

Gado is the nephew of Igmidio Facunla, secretary general of Alyansa ng Magbubukid sa Gitnang Luson (AMGL or Alliance of Peasants in Central Luzon).

According to AMGL sources, Facunla  had complained of harassment from military who had been casing his house in Manggang Marikit village, Guimba. Bulatlat
